This April 6, 2010 view shows the West River Road common drive north turnaround shown from the north, in front of the Lot 10 garage.
This April 6, 2010 view taken from the front of the Lot 10 home to the south shows the reason for having this turnaround. If a driver from or to Lot 10 or Lot 11 notices another driver already on the drive that is on the dam, they have a safe area to pull into to wait until the drive over the dam is cleared to proceed.
Approaching the north end of the common drive, the turnaround is to the right as shown in this May 13, 2010 view.
2011 Views
Someone driving out the Lot 11 drive to the left in this May 4, 2011 photo would have an easy opportunity to turn onto the turnaround should they notice someone already on the driveway over the dam, then be able to make a smooth transition onto the drive across the dam once the drive was clear. Medina County required these turnarounds on each end of the drive across the dam for safety to those driving on the common drive.
The various gardens grace the common drive to the north. This May 4, 2011 photo shows the turnaround from a greater distance.
This October 13, 2011 photo gives a more distant view of the north turnaround.
2012 Views
This April 30, 2012 close up of the north turnaround mound shows that the mound is growing nicely. Since the purpose of the mound is to give a visual barrier for the Lot 10 home regarding cars exiting the Lot 11 driveway.
2013 Views
As shown in this April 30, 2013 photo, the turnaround hasn't changed but the shrubs and trees on the mound are increasing in size and becoming more of a visual barrier.
