Ready to build on: Lakeview's multi-acre lots with lakes and trees are ready to build your dream home or estate on with utilities at your lot border. Home style >> modern, old-world mansion, traditional, contemporary, is entirely your choice. Any style will be welcomed into this upscale rural community that is only 12 miles from the Cleveland Browns training center and a mere 25 miles from downtown Cleveland
Room to spread your wings: These 2 and 3-Acre lots are designed so that there is about 300 feet of space between home sites. No tract home look to your home and lot. You and your family and guests will have privacy built into the lot design but still will be able to wave a friendly "howdy" to your neighbors in Lakeview.
Country peace, city amenities close-by: If your desire is to be able to rejuvenate and restore your soul once you leave the hectic pace of work in the city or the concerns of managing your company, then Lakeview is the choice for you. One of the homeowners in Lakeview made the comment, "As I drive home, the tension of my day melts away from me." Yet, should you want to enjoy one of the great offerings that Cleveland has for you, then it is a short drive to the Orchestra, Playhouse Square, a Browns, Indians or Cavaliers game, dining and dancing in one of the many establishments in the Flats, or shopping even closer to your home. The Clinic and University hospitals are also easy and quick to reach, with clinics in nearby Brunswick and Strongsville. International travel is just 14 miles away via Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
Family-owned: Owned by Joseph and Evelyn Popa since 1939, this 50-Acre plot was cleared of virgin timber by Joe and Evelyn who then farmed it, built 9 lakes on the land since 1951 and in 1996 subdivided it into the 13 estate lots that are now Lakeview Rural Reservation. The original Popa family home built in 1947 by Joe and Evelyn of brick/block double wall construction is on Lot 10
Your choice for the unique: To live in the spacious countryside rather than the cramped city developments is one of that many residents of the state of Ohio make. Lakeview is unique in that the development does not mimic the city developments as many other rural developments do. Rather, the lots are placed to utilize the lay of the land to its best advantage. The 3 ravines have been dammed to create lakes, leaving the virgin timber in place in the ravines for a nature preserve. Your frequent animal visitors will be deer, wild turkey, woodchucks, red fox as well as Canada geese and Mallard ducks.
Hello,
Just have a few questions… is there public water available? Is there a HOA? If so, what is the yearly amount? Is there a minimum square foot requirement for the house? Is it ok to walk the available lots?
Thank you
There is public water, gas available for the lot. That information was on the website, also the minimum square footage for the home which is 2500. However the lot has already been sold so walking the lot is not permitted. Thank you for your interest.
